Music to Our Ears
Live Nation is working to bring a new mid-sized music venue right next to the Momentary.
Big things are brewing just south of Downtown Bentonville, and if you love live music, this one’s worth watching.
Live Nation Entertainment is working with the Momentary on plans for a new mid-size music venue that could bring even more concerts to Northwest Arkansas.
The proposed space, called the Bentonville Ballroom, would seat about 2,500 people and sit just steps from the Momentary campus. If approved, it’s expected to open in 2028 and host everything from national touring acts to local shows and community events.
🏘️ On Your Front Porch
A major new music venue could be coming to Bentonville presented by Live Nation Entertainment.
A 2,500-capacity indoor space that blends Ozark warmth with professional performance.
Timeline: Pending approval: 2028
Location: the northeast corner of Southeast Eighth and Southeast E streets, near the Momentary and 8th Street Market.
Why it matters: Bentonville continues to grow as a cultural destination, bringing vibrancy to NWA.

🎶 A New Stage for Bentonville
Northwest Arkansas has no shortage of outdoor stages (hello, AMP), but this project fills a gap: a year-round, indoor venue sized right between small clubs and large amphitheaters.
The projects leaders say it could:
Bring in 100+ events a year
Attract more touring artists who might otherwise skip the region.
Draw visitors from outside NWA (more than 80,000 annually, by one estimate)
In other words, fewer road trips and more big nights close to home.
🎫 We’ll do it Live.
Live Nation Entertainment is one of the largest live entertainment companies in the world, focused on producing concerts and connecting artists with fans.
Ranging from small club performances to major stadium tours for top global artists, the company promotes thousands of shows each year. Live Nation owns around 150 venues across the US.
Through its affiliate, Ticketmaster, Live Nation handles the sale and distribution of tickets for concerts, sports, and other live events. The company also provides services to artists, including tour management, sponsorship deals, and merchandising support.
Live Nation views the Bentonville Ballroom as a strategic stop for future music tours and as a cultural investment for the state of Arkansas. To do that, there’s no better place to build it than next to The Momentary.

📈A Boost Beyond the Stage
An economic impact study estimates the venue could generate about $46 million annually and support around 280 jobs, while also boosting nearby restaurants, hotels, and small businesses.
And with its location near the Momentary and the Razorback Greenway, planners are already thinking about how fans will move through the area—on foot, bike, and beyond.
The new venue should fit nicely in its new Ozark home. Early designs lean into what makes this natural materials, warm wood tones, and architecture inspired by the surrounding landscape.
The goal: a venue that feels unique to Bentonville, continuing the city’s tradition of blending culture and innovation and highlighting the beauty and culture of Northwest Arkansas.
Pending approval, this venue should be open to concerts, weddings, and events by 2028.
🏡Front Porch’s Take
If you’ve felt like Northwest Arkansas is this close to becoming a true music destination, this should get you excited.
A space like this changes how often tours stop here, how long people stay, and how the community gathers. It will continue to make Downtown Bentonville a destination for tourists, while bringing energy and fun to the locals.
And honestly? A weeknight show five minutes from home sounds pretty great.
